NFT Art: Unpacking the NFT Collections From Millennium Sapphire Studios
Since launching an NFT studio in 2021, MS Token’s NFT arm has generated several novel collections inspired by renowned artists of all time and the piece of art that is the Millennium Sapphire.
In this article, we will unpack each collection, explaining what it embodies, the source of inspiration, and where you can find it.
The Cubist Musicians NFT Series
As the name suggests, the Cubist Musicians series is a collection of art depicting different musicians drawn in the Cubism art style. Cubism was a revolutionary art movement of the early 20th century and notably the first abstract art style. It was practiced by renowned artists like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.
The Cubist Musicians NFT Series captures the dynamic syncopation of the musical arts. Thanks to their multifaceted and angular animations, these pieces evoke a sense of geometric spatial and temporal displacement, which is characteristic of the cubist painting style. The musical motifs employed within these pieces strive for a transcendent yet discordant harmony between the instruments’ shapes and the musicians’ bodies.
The Cubist Musicians collection has 31 cool and distinct animations tokenized on Ethereum.

The Nudes NFT Series
The Nudes NFT series draws inspiration from Paul Gauguin, a French Post-Impressionist artist whose work influenced the French avant-garde and many modern artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. Gauguin is well known for his relationship with Vincent and Theo Van Gogh.
Today, Gauguin is recognized for his experimental use of color and Synthesist style distinct from the Impressionist era. Toward the end of his life, he spent ten years in French Polynesia. The paintings from this time depict people or landscapes from that region.
The series comprises nude images in Renaissance, Malay, and Reclining styles.
